Breaking through the dark,
in the wake of dawn,
I find morning dew
embracing my entire lawn.
Sparkling like diamonds on leaves,
through you, the sunlight peeps,
giving me the illusion of gold,
I wish the moment to hold.
I want to keep you as such,
but to my dismay,
you shrivel upon my touch.
You quickly trickle down,
just on my slight bustle,
it seems you must go somewhere,
as you leave in a hustle.
I feel fortunate to enjoy,
the sight so beautiful,
which is full of life,
and happiness bountiful!
